Magic (魔法, Mahou) is a supernatural ability used by most of the Ixseed. It basically allows the Ixseed to produce phenomena, bend the laws of nature, and create existences through the use of the world's driving force—the Spirits.
Overview
All magic are actualized by controlling Spirits or even by the Spirit Circuits itself. All of the Ixseed are ranked based on their affinity for magic. The "Life" amongst the first six races, from Old Deus to Flügel, are born with the natural ability to control Spirits without the more scientific approach of lesser races. Jibril concluded her own power to be far greater than an Elf's magic but less controlled and sophisticated in comparison.
Magic can be cancelled if its magical energy or the actualizer are destroyed. For instance, one of the spells of the Spirit-Breaking Rites is able to cause Spirits in a specific area to self-destruct; as a result, any activation of magic within the area can't be done due to the power used to perform it is absence. Another instance is when magic's actualizer, i.e., Spirit Circuits, is destroyed; this means that everyone who has an affinity for magic can't actualize their magic even if they have enough magical energy to do so.
Spells
Spells are a verbal way to use magic and Elementals. Spells can be used to achieve different effects such as Jibril summoning Kú Li Anse (Eternal Fourth Protection) to generate a magical barrier. The Elves are exceptionally skilled at the usage of spells as they have the ability to cast multiple spells at once and even create a new formula that can be used by the other Ixseed such as the Flügel.
Special Skills
Some of the Ixseed are known to have special skills unique to their race and even further to specific individuals within the race.
Arma Qualia

Arma Qualia is the ultimate magic of Phantasma, much like the Flügel's Heavenly Smite, or the Dragonia's Far Cry but its primary purpose is not used as a weapon. It is able to disfigure dimensions together and warp perceived realities.
Far Cry

Far Cry is the most powerful magic attack used by the Dragonia, In exchange for the user's life, it lets out a devastating destructive blast of heat and fire Elementals. It is so powerful that it's said to be capable of altering the terrain.
Heaven's Strike

Heaven's Strike (天撃, Tengeki) or Heavenly Smite is a Magic used by the Flügel during the Great War and the most powerful destruction magic for Flügel. However, the Flügel's body regresses to that of a young child incapable of using magic after using this attack at full power.
Sprite Tune
- Main article: Sprite Tune
Sprite Tune is a spell developed by the Fairy during the Great War and is considered their "trump card". When cast it creates a Spratul, (or a spatial phase boundary.) Which is essentially a pocket dimension, in which only the Fairies can access Spirit Circuits and therefore are the only race capable of using magic. They use their souls to manipulate the Spratul to their will.
With enough casters or soul power, one Sprite Tune can seal away a vast area of land, replacing its original position with a Spratul. The sealed area is then effectively trapped inside a Spratul.
Alles-Lösen

Although the Ex-Machina have a large arsenal of unique weapons exclusive to them, Alles-Lösen (German for Solve Everything) is their definite trump card which unleashes everything they've got. As an algorithm for combating unknown foes, the sheer abilities of this form is evident when it allowed Schwi, a mere Prufer unit, to hold off against Jibril for a few minutes despite the huge difference in their power. 701 units utilizing the algorithm were even able to defeat the Old Deus Artosh, who is the very concept of power itself.
Bloodborne

The trump card of the Demonia. Not much is known about it.
Blood Break
- Main article: Blood Break
Blood Break (血の破壊, Kekkai) is an ability exclusive to the Werebeast race and allows for them to bypass all physical capabilities and possibly the laws of physics for a set amount of time. It can be identified by the iconic red staining of the eyes, hair, fur, and parts of the skin (generally forming an intricate skin pattern on at least the forehead and under the eyes that are unique to each individual) with the red color being derived from the person's blood breaking from either the breaking of the capillaries or from the uncontrollable flow of their blood. After reverting back to his/her original form, the red coloring of their Blood Destruction form disappears thereby assuming his/her blood returning to the bloodstream.
Usage
Although most Ixseeds are capable of using magic, each races utilize them in their own unique way.
Phantasma Magic
Not much is known about the magic of Phantasma, but it can be assumed that they are able to bend reality to their will. An example is Jibril's Kitchen -- by using Avant Heim as a manufactured wormhole, Jibril was able to create a kitchen made for Stephanie Dola to feed Sora and Shiro. Also, Avant Heim is capable of speaking to all races simultaneously using a language that all of them understand.
Dragonia Magic
Dragonia are beings that exist in multiple timelines and thus are masters of space-time manipulations. They could unleash unavoidable attacks that pass through time or regenerate from any damages by resonating between different timeframes.
They are also capable of the Draconic language, which are magical words capable of altering reality itself.
Flügel Magic
The Flügels are known as "Life" as opposed to the "Creatures" which means their bodies are mostly made of Elementals, making their affinity to magic incredibly strong. The Flügels are able to use a wide range of magic, from offensive spells like Heavenly Smite to daily utilities like Teleportation and Materialization Shiritori. Although unable to match Elves in sophistication, their sheer power and near-bottomless capacity more than made up for it.
Elf Magic
Magic invented and used by Elves are the most spread and common within Ixseed. It controls Elemental with various sophisticated formulas to achieve many purposes, from everyday convenience to cheats used in games. Elves are able to maintain multiple magic at the same time, or combine multiple casts into a more powerful one. Their magnum opus are the Spirit-Breaking Rites, which includes the powerful defensive spell Eternal Fourth Protection and the mass-destruction spell Void Zero Protection.
For an Elf, aptitude in magic is depended on how many magics the Elf can maintain at the same time, dubbing them "#th-caster" in the process. As Elven nobles are mostly duo- or tri-casters, Fiel Nirvalen is being considered as inferior due to being officially known as a duo-caster depending on assisting runes. In fact, she is a prodigal hex-caster who recently broke her limit to the 7th, only eclipsed by her unsurpassed ancestor Think Nirvalen, who's an octo-caster.
Dwarf Enchantments
Due to the fact that Dwarf's body would overload if they attempted to use magic without a catalyst (due to their mithril hair), the 8th-ranked race created Spirit Arms that channel, process and regulate magic. Spirit Arms can be embedded with magical runes, or even combined and transformed to other forms to produce various effects rivaling Elven magic. They are capable of building all sorts of Devices, ranging from personal weapons like swords and hammers, to large, floating warships and weapons of mass destruction like E-Bomb that provide them advantage during the war.
The greatest devices recognized by dwarfs are a pair of robots crafted by Lóni Drauvnir and Veig Drauvnir respectively, which could rewrite the "concept" of both spiritual and physical forms temporarily. According to Sora, that is very much rewriting the setting of computer games instead of using cheat code.
A Space-conditioner crafted in Hardenfell was purchased by Jibril to install at Kuhaku's chamber at Elkia Palace, which serves the same purpose of Air-con yet with wider effect.
According to Jibril, the design and theory behind Dwarven craft are purely artistic. Dwarf forgers simply followed their intuition during the processes and there are no scientific elements involved. This is vital to the production of the Devices as any Dwarves who failed to do so can only repair and maintain Devices.
Ex-Machina's Magic
The Ex-Machina are seen to have the most diverse use of their magic due to their sheer computing power, which allows them to analyze and replicate attacks inflicted upon them. With their "Lösen" ability, they are capable of using duplicates of other races' attacks (such as Enderpokryphen), or create powerful original weapons like the Stalemartyr.
Dhampir Magic
The Dhampir, as the 12th-ranked race among the Ixseed, specializes in illusion magic. They are known to be the most powerful race in terms of illusion magic as long as their physical forms allow it. True to that, Plum is capable of not only camouflaging himself but even bested magically superior opponents like Jibril and Fiel Nirvalen. However, their deeper strength (literally) lies in self-hypnosis that allow feats beyond Dhampir's physical ability. By placing himself and others in illusion, the Dhampir prince is capable of flight, lifting heavy objects beyond his normal strength and most of all: Love magic, with no other records in history.
