Gigant (巨人種(ギガント), Giganto) are the fifth ranking race of the Exceed other than that, not much is known about them. The Gigants became allies with the Dwarves at the end of the Great War as well as several Phantasmas.

Appearance

From their depiction, they have giant bodies and may seem to be hunching over with limp arms.

Trivia

• It is said by Jibril, in Light Novel Volume 4 of the Light Novel, that they are strong beings, as it would require 5 or 6 Flügel to fight one.
• Despite this gap in power, Jibril was able to kill a Gigant singlehandedly. This is possible only because of her numerous attempts, along with her being the most powerful Flügel.
