If Little Witch Academia did that (And Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood ALMOST had to), then it makes sense for the company that made NGNL to make another season with a donation pool. Let's hope they find this one day. Sora and Shiro MUST CHALLENGE TET!!! But fot the meantime, we have the Manga and the light novels. That can suffice for now, right? </p>

<p>We are talking about like 1-3 million USD here. </p><p>and I don't think funding is the sole reason why NGNL does not have a S2 yet. </p>

<p>2 reasons why still until now , no news for NGNL season2 is  </p><p>Not just because of Budget, it's bec. of story on the last ep. of the last part of NGNL that Old Deus, appeared, and second, on novel, last volume, I cut in the chase, all they need to do is to reboot or Make new ligh novels to correct in base on anime :3 </p>

<p>Second No Game No Life Season: I heard that due to legal reasons, No Game No Life were cut off and unable to continue. The last two episodes were supposedly supposed to be the first two episodes of the second season, but because they were unable to finish, they felt it would be unsettling to have a cut off, two episode season. If you want to know what happens next, read the manga! ^_^ </p>

<p>@IP-user, new material for the series is continuously getting released while no new manga chapter have been released so far since after the anime air. What are you talking about? And what do you mean by last two episodes which are integral part of the volume 3? </p>

<p>Anime studios usually have multiple projects planned in advance and the first season is like the testing grounds for success. According to this article from The Inquisitr, the good news is that No Game No Life Season 2 has plenty of source material, even enough for NGNL Season 3 never mind the movie. Also, I highly doubt budget issues are legit and that "canceled over legal reasons" thing is a BS rumor. </p>
